Our
roots are also in the antique business since Highsmith Furniture
began as an importer of English antiques. Recognizing that the
supply of bona fide antiques was limited and appreciation for older
furniture with character was growing, we wrote a new business plan.
Highsmith Furniture is now the source for new furniture with
European bloodlines. Specializing in design and finishing details
inspired by country estate furnishings, we are a favorite resource
for furniture retailers and interior designers who serve
design-oriented consumers. Our expanded sourcing capabilities allow
us to offer shorter lead times for in-stock orders and attractive
price points for larger quantities or container shipments. And we
continue to offer custom painted finishes on select items for our
interior design clients.
We sell only to retailers and interior designers through our
network of Highsmith representatives. During April and October
Furniture Markets, we invite interior designers and retailers to
